Kolkata Knight Riders have defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 55th game of Vivo Indian Premier League to enter the knockouts of championship beginning from 24 May. KKR registered 22 runs victory over SRH to earn two points in points table and qualify for IPL 2016 playoffs. Yusuf Pathan was awarded player of the match award for his fantastic fifty.

In this crucial game, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner won toss and asked KKR to bat. Kolkata got pretty good score in 20 overs as they put 171 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Yusuf Pathan made 52 runs while Manish Pandey score 48 runs.

Meanwhile in the chase of 172 runs target, SRH managed to score just 149 in the 20 overs quota. Opener Shikhar Dhawan was the only Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman to spend some time on the crease and he scored brilliant fifty. Sunil Narine took 3 wickets in SRH innings.
