The seventh edition of women’s ICC World Twenty20 championship is due to play in Australia in February-March 2020. ICC women’s t20 world cup 2020 will be played from 21 February to 8 March across six venues in four Australian cities.
Ten women’s national cricket teams will be competing in the tournament that will conclude with final on 8th March. The participating nations are grouped into A and B. Hosts Australia have been placed in Group A along with Sri Lanka, India, New Zealand and Bangladesh women’s.
Four time women’s twenty20 world cup winner Australia will be title defending champions in the competition. England, South Africa, Pakistan, West Indies and Thailand are placed in the Group-B. Thailand women’s cricket team qualified for the time in main tournament.

Sydney cricket ground (SCG) to host both semi-final matches on 5 March from 2 PM local time. Melbourne cricket ground will be hosting final of 2020 women’s world cup from 7 PM local time.
