Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) was started in 2012 when tournament’s inaugural edition was played. Since then five seasons have been concluded successfully. Due to some reasons, 2014 BPL couldn’t take place. Dhaka Gladiators won first two seasons of Bangladesh Premier League and are the most successful team of BPLT20 till date.
The latest edition of Bangladesh Premier League was won by Rangpur Riders as they beat title defenders Dhaka Dynamites by 57 runs in the final match played at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
