Team Peshawar have become the first Pakistan Super League franchise to reveal their team name, official logo and head coach of the team. Javed Afridi is the owner of Peshawar franchise in PSL and the team will be known as “Peshawar Zalmi”. On this Peshawar Zalmi’s launch, the head of coach of the team was also named as Mohammad Akram. Former England cricket coach Andy Flower was also announced as the batting consultant and mentor in the side.

The first edition of HBL Pakistan Super League will run from 4 to 23 February 2016 in United Arab Emirates. There are a total of 6 franchises in the competition and all the rest five teams name will be revealed soon in the upcoming days.
