Balkh Legends is a professional Twenty20 cricket team that plays in Afghanistan Premier League. It is one of the five original APL T20 teams that competes in APL inaugural edition in 2018. National team captain Mohammad Nabi was announced the skipper of Balkh team in Afghanistan Premier League 2018.
Former South Africa batsman Harschelle Gibbs is the head coach of team for inaugural edition. Team represents Mazar-i-Sharif city from North region in the championship.
Balkh Legends won the inaugural edition of Afghanistan Premier League in 2018 by defeating Kabul Zwanan in the final match at Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
