Australia Cricket Board have named 15-member T20I squad for the upcoming series against India starting from 23rd November. Matthew Wade is appointed as the skipper for Australian team to play 5 twenty20 internationals. Currently teams are competing in ODI world cup whose final scheduled for 19 November.
Steve Smith and David Warner have been included in the side after missing the series against South Africa. 8 players from the ODI team that is in India at the moment for world cup, will remain in the country for India’s t20 series.
“It’s an experienced squad with a mixture of players who have had their first opportunity on the international stage and that we hope will continue to develop into important players in our T20 group,” selection comittee chairman George Bailey said.
