The 15 women New Zealand squad consists of 6 spinners. Suzie Bates left captaincy few days back which enforced Tiffen to appoint new skipper Amy.

“Amy is a highly experienced player and she has taken the captaincy. We are blessed with a group of versatile cricketers and know that spin should play a large part in the Caribbean, especially with the slower nature of the pitches over there,” coach Haidee Tiffen said.
