Sri Lanka Cricket Board confirmed 15-member Twenty20 squad for England series. Sacked skipper Angelo Matthews didn’t get a chance in Sri-Lankan side for only T20I that is scheduled to play on 27th October 2018. R. Premadasa cricket stadium to host the t20 match between England and Sri Lanka.
Dinesh Chandimal will be leading Sri Lanka team in the England series that comprises of 5 ODIs and a T20 match. SLC board official mentioned that Matthews was dropped due to fitness issues and bench mark set by the board.
