West Indies cricket board have announced the 15-member squad for International Cricket Council’s World T20 championship in India in March-April. 2012 Twenty20 world cup winning team captain Darren Sammy is once again appointed West Indies’ skipper to lead the side in the sixth edition of tournament beginning from 8th March.
Sunil Narine is included in the 15-member Caribbean squad for world cup though he has been facing suspension for illegal bowling action which was reported in November during national team’s tour to Sri Lanka. Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo are also named in the West Indian team for 2016 t20 world cup as these players were not a part of the camp in 2015 cricket world cup.
There are 11 players in the side who were the part of 2012 ICC World Twenty20 winning teams. Jason Holder, Sulieman Benn, Andre Fletcher and Jerome Taylor are the four players who were not the part of wt20 winning team. Let’s have a look at the announced West Indies team for T20 world cup 2016.

Caribbean team is placed with current world t20 champions Sri Lanka, 2010 wt20 winner England and one of the favorites in the event Proteas team. West Indies will play their opening game of tournament on 16th March against England in Mumbai.
