Cricket is coming back to Pakistan as World-XI is all set to play three twenty20 matches in the country in the second week of September 2017. South African skipper Faf Du Plessis will be seen leading World 11 against Pakistan in Lahore. Andy Flower is the head coach of team.
Lahore’s Gaddafi stadium to host these matches from 12 to 15 September. 5 players from South Africa, 3 from Australia, 2 from West Indies and 1-1 each from England, New Zealand, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to be the part of World-x1 team traveling to Pakistan.
World XI skipper Faf Du Plessis said, “I look forward to my maiden tour to Pakistan and play my part in safe and gradual resemption of cricket in Pakistan. Playing in Pakistan in front of their passionate crowd will be an unique occasion. I can’t wait to experience. This will be an auspicious moment for Pakistan, I am positive that it will open doors of international cricket in Pakistan.”

Two days practice camp will be held in Dubai for World-XI before heading to Pakistan. In the first week of September, ICC’s security team will visit Pakistan to check and verify the security arrangements.
