Quetta Gladiators is a professional T20 cricket team that plays in Pakistan Super League and represents Pakistan city Quetta in the tournament. Omar Associates are the owners of Quetta Gladiators franchise in PSLT20 and this Karachi based firm bought franchise for 11 Million USD. PTV is the official media partner of Quetta team for first three editions of league.

West Indies cricket great Sir Vivian Richards was named mentor and batting coach for the first edition of HBL Pakistan Super League. Former Pakistani wicket-keeper batsman Moin Khan was appointed head coach of the team. Current Pakistan national team’s wicket keeper Sarfraz Ahmed was announced the captain of side during the first edition of championship and since then he is leading the side.

Sacked English cricketer Kevin Pietersen was announced the iconic player for Quetta Gladiators in the first PSLT20 edition.

Omar Associates founder and Quetta Gladiators owner Mr. Nadeem Omar launched the official team name and logo on 6 January, 2016 at an event in Quetta.

Team Jersey

On 7th January 2016, the official kit and players jersey of Quetta Gladiators was revealed at the launching ceremony event in Quetta. Purple and Golden color combination is used to design the outfit.

Squad

Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed will be leading the Quetta Gladiators team in the fourth Pakistan Super League season just like previous season. Gladiators traded Hassan Khan and Rahat Ali to Lahore Qalandars to get Sunil Narine and Umar Akmal in the squad for PSL 2019 edition.

Team also secured fast bowler Sohail Tanvir from Multan Sultans.
