New IPL franchise Rising Pune Supergiants purchased the first player of Vivo IPL 2016 auction as they bought Kevin Pietersen for 350 Lakhs INR. The English sacked batsman was the first marquee player to go under the hammer with a base price of 2.00 Crore INR.
In their second bid Pune Supergiants purchased Ishant Sharma for 380 Lakhs. MS Dhoni will be leading the side and Kevin Pietersen will join the group of some top overseas players like Steve Smith and Faf du Plessis.
