David Warner & Company is in great form and are on the top of IPL-9 points table. They were terrific in the game against Rising Pune Supergiants where they defended a total of 137 runs. It was such a marvelous performance from RPS bowlers especially from Mustafizur Rahman, Ashish Nehra and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. These were just exceptional against strong Pune batting.
Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen were not looking quite impressive in the previous match. It is not fair to say that batsmen didn’t apply but Vishakhapatnam’s wicket wasn’t supportive to batsman. Bowlers were enjoying on that pitch. Warner, Dhawan, Yuvraj and Williamson are in good form. They have been scoring runs and will again be crucial for SRH against Delhi Daredevils.
On the other side, DD have been depending a lot on their prime batsmen Quinton de Kock, Sanju Sampson, Carlos Brathwaite and Karun nair. Middle order needs to play good if Delhi Daredevils want to make it through knockouts. The last game against KXIP, they were pretty under the control and were heading towards the win. But as de Kock and Sampson returned to pavilion, middle order completely failed to capitalized on the momentum.
