Cricket Australia have announced 14-member national t20 squad for the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka and Pakistan in October-November 2019. The Australian T20I squad is announced by keeping an eye on next year’s ICC World Cup 2020 to be hosted in the country itself.
Aaron Finch will be leading Australia’s twenty20 team that will play three-three matches against Sri Lanka from 27 October to 1 November and Pakistan from 3rd to 8th November 2019. All-rounder Marcus Stoinis and hard-hitting opener Chris Lynn have been dropped from the roster. D’Arcy also short from the Aussie lineup.
Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Billy Stanlake are the fast bowling leaders in the Aussies squad. Nathan Lyon is not included as he’s recovering from ankle injury post Ashes series. Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar are the spin bowling options for Finch.
Steve Smith and David Warner are making comeback to the side and will be top batting stars in the Australian lineup at the front.
