The eighth edition of ICC World Twenty20 championship will also be known as ICC World Twenty20 2020, ICC World T20 2020 and Twenty20 world cup 2020. Tournament is set to be hosted in Australia for the first time ever in this history of WT20 since 2007. Initially there were reports that Australia and New Zealand will organize the event jointly but later on it was confirmed that Cricket Australia will host it alone.
