Pakistan Cricket Board announced domestic t20 league “Pakistan Super League (PSL)” to boost cricket in Pak’s youth. The first edition of Pakistan Super League was played in 2016 which was won by Islamabad United under Misbah-Ul-Haq’s captaincy.
The second edition of Pakistan Super League was claimed by Peshawar Zalmi under Darren Sammy’s captaincy. However Quetta Gladiators succeeded to reach in the final successive time but failed to win it in 2016 and 2017. Gladiators won their first PSL title in 2019.
The latest edition of PSLT20 was won by Multans Sultans defeating Peshawar Zalmi in the final of 2021 edition.
