PCB have announced 16-member T20I squad of Pakistan cricket team for the upcoming three twenty20 internationals against Sri Lanka on home soil. Opener Ahmed Shehzad and top order batsman Umar Akmal have been recalled in the national side after long gap.

Ahmed Shehzad was last featured in the national t20 side was in June 2018 meanwhile Umar played last T20I against West Indies in September 2016. So it’s going to be a long time for both batsmen and challenging to perform on their return.

Faheem Ashraf is also included in the Men in Green squad. Abid Ali, Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq who were part of ODI squad, are not selected for twenty20s. Chief selector and head coach Misbah announced the roster that will be facing Sri Lanka in 3 T20s between 5 and 9 October.
