In the seventh game of Vivo Indian Premier League 2016, Delhi Daredevils to host Kings XI Punjab on 15th April at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. Both teams lost their first matches of this season and will look to get win the second match of IPL-9 on Friday.

Delhi Daredevils will be feeling comfortable as they are returning to home ground after facing big defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match. DD batsmen were all out on just 98 runs score and failed to play even 30 overs of the innings against KKR. Hence skipper Zaheer Khan will be expecting top batsmen like Duminy, Iyer, de Kock and Brathwaite to play against KXIP.
Zaheer khan should give chance to Rishabh Pant who showed his batting capabilities in U19 world cup. He is a good hitter of ball and can really destroy Punjab’s bowling. Duminy, de Kock and Sanju Sampson need to stay time on the wicket as well as score runs at good pace to challenge Kings XI Punjab in the match. Imran Tahir and Pawan Negi can play big role on this spin friendly Kotla’s wicket for home team.
On the other hands, Kings XI Punjab are depending too much on their batting line-up that includes big T20 cricketers names like David Miller, Glenn Maxwell and Murali Vijay. These are terrific players and can change the momentum of game at any instant. Shaun Marsh is expected to make his way in the playing line-up for vital game. Hence Marsh will also be key batsman at the top while Manan Vohra needs to provide good start with Murali Vijay.
Mohit Sharma and Mitchell Johnson need to hit the right areas and get in the form. They were not looking good in the opening game but they must bowl well against Delhi Daredevils. Akshar Patel can be handy spinner for KXIP in Feroz Shah Kotla.
