Kings XI Punjab to start 2017 Vivo Indian Premier League season on 8th April against Rising Pune Supergiants. Opening Batsmen
Kings 11 Punjab has made lots of experiments with their opening pair. Murali Vijay to open the innings for KXIP that’s for sure. There can be many choices to go with for second opener as Hashim Amla, Martin Guptill, Manan Vohra can come to open for Kings XI Punjab in IPL-10.
Middle Order
KXIP purchased some good players like Eoin Morgan and Darren Sammy who can be very handy in the middle overs. Meanwhile West Indies’ star all-rounder Sammy can bat and bowl for Punjab in this season. He and Australia’s Marcus Stoinis will be key all-rounders in the side. Maxwell, Miller, Amla, Morgan are the prime middle order batsmen for Punjab. However it depends on how management and think tank plans about players selection for final playing XI.
Bowlers
Punjab bought two good fast bowlers in the players auction that includes New Zealand pace bowler Matt Henry and India’s young Varun Aaron. Akshar Patel is the main spin bowling option for KXIP. Mohit Sharma, Sandeep Sharma and Anureet Singh are the other main bowlers in the roster.

I am very surprised to know that Murali vijoy is the captain of Kings 11 Punjab who is not a regular player of Indian odi team or t20 team.he is a good test player.Darren Sammy the world’s best t20 captain should be the captain of the team.the playing 11 will be:guptill,vohra,gurkeerat,w.saha,Miller,stoinis,Sammy,axar,cariappa,sandeep/mohit,nataranjan/baron.
