New Zealand’s Colin Munro has become first player to score three twenty20 international centuries in the history of format. Munro achieved this milestone while playing third T20I against West Indies at Mount Maunganui. He took 47 balls to reach his third international T20 ton.
Colin made 104 runs in 53 balls with the help of 10 sixes. He just hit only 3 fours in the hundred-run innings. Munro previously smashed hundreds against Bangladesh and India. This hundred came at the right time for left-hand batsman as Indian Premier League 2018 auction is scheduled to take place on 27 and 28 January and now every franchise will look forward to buy him for 11th IPL season.
Chris Gayle, Brendon McCullum and Rohit Sharma are the other three batsmen who scored two-two hundreds in T20 cricket. Hence Munro took one step forward as he became first to score third T20I on.

With Colin Munro’s destructive innings, Blackcaps managed to put 243 runs on the scoreboard after completion of 20 overs. Before this NZ won toss and chose to bat first. Openers Martin Guptill and Munro gave a perfect start to the hosts and posted hundred run partnership before Guptill fall on 63.
