The most under performed team of Indian Premier League, Delhi Daredevils are set to play 10th IPLT20 season with lots of hopes to get into finals for the first time in the history. South African middle order batsman JP Duminy will be leading DD in the Vivo IPL 2017.

Opening Batsmen
There are some good choices for Delhi Daredevils to go with for opening slot. However team management to go with one permanent opening batsman Quinton De Kock who can play as wicket-keeper batsman too in the Delhi side. The African batsman is in good form. English batsman Sam Billings and Indian youngsters Rishabh Pant, Aditya Tare and Sanju Sampson can play as the second opener.
Middle Order
Delhi Daredevils haven’t got big names apart from skipper JP Duminy for the middle order. Daredevils will rely highly on key Indian stars like Samnju Sampson, Karun Nair. However team will depend on all-rounders Carlos Braithwaite, Corey Anderson, Angelo Mathews and Jayant Yadav in the middle overs as whoever gets chance.
Bowlers
Delhi Daredevils have got two top class Indian fast bowlers Zaheer Khan and Mohammad Shami in the squad who can destroy any batting lineup at the front and strict runs in the depth overs. South Africa’s pace bowler Kagiso Rabada will also be crucial in the DD lineup. Pat Cummins and Christopher Morris are the other prime bowling options in the squad who can play as if gets fit in the playing 11.
M. Ashwin is the only prime spin bowling option in the Delhi team. Captain Duminy will be seen bowling few overs in the middle overs as part time spinner.
