Indian cricket team’s top players may be featured in the first edition of Pakistan Super League next year. Initially it was reported that Indian cricketers will not be playing in PSL as Pakistan players are debarred from Indian Premier League. But as per the latest reports, team India’s top players MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli may participate in PSL-2016.
However the participation of Indian players will be depending on the proposed bilateral series between India and Pakistan in December. If Indo-Pak series takes place in December it will be huge for the relations between two nations.
Pakistan Cricket Board’s executive committee head Mr. Najam Sethi is currently in Dubai to have some preparations for the domestic t20 Pakistan Super League and talks for the bilateral series. He mentions that India should allow their players to be a part of Pakistan’s league if they don’t want our players to play in their league.
Mr. Sethi said, “If the series takes place in December, the ground will be fertile. If you don’t want our players to play in your league, OK, but at least let your players play in ours. It will be difficult for them to refuse that. There will be pressure from the players.”

He further elaborates that Pakistan in talks with India to play bilateral series in December and if it happens the doors will be opened for Indians to be a part of PSL.
“We are going to try to persuade the Indians to play us in December. If that happens, we will also be talking about a reciprocal arrangement – and I have had preliminary talks with people in Delhi on this – about Pakistani players being allowed to play in IPL and Indian players being allowed to play in PSL.”
Pakistan Super League is scheduled to take place between 4 and 24 February 2016.
