Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the 15 member twenty20 squad for upcoming 2017 West Indies tour. Veteran wicket-keeper batsman Kamran Akmal as well as opening batsman Kamran Akmal are returning to the side after along time.
Both Kamran and Shehzad have been recalled for their good performance in the recently concluded Pakistan Super League 2017 season. Kamran Akmal was the leading run scorer in PSL-2 with 353 runs in 11 innings meanwhile Shehzad smashed three fifties in 10 innings.
PSL performers Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan have also been named in the ODI and T20 rosters of Pakistan for West Indies tour beginning from 26th March.
Umar Akmal is not a part of Men in Green anymore as he failed to full fill the criteria of fitness test set by selectors and coaching Staff. Pakistan Cricket head coach Inzamam Ul Haq notified Umar’s exclusion in the media. Pace bowler Mohammad Amir has been rested for t20 series meanwhile will play One-Days.
