Announced: Team India for ICC World T20 & Asia Cup 2016
Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) selection committee picked 15-member squad today for upcoming Asia Cup and ICC World Twenty20 2016. The selection committee held in New Delhi headed by Sandeep Patil. MS Dhoni is leading the side. Mohammad Shami and Pawan Negi are included in the Indian team for both competitions.
The 3-0 whitewash win in Australia, made easy job for selectors to select the Indian squad for prestigious t20 world cup and Asia Cup.
Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma are in good form and will be the first opening pair choice of tournament. Captain may think to promote Ajinkya Rahane at the top of the order.
Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni will be the key players for India in asia cup and twenty20 cricket world cup. Ajinkya Rahane is also picked in the 15-men Indian team today.
Ravindra Jadeja and Hardik Pandya will be the all-rounders in final Men in Blue team for WT20. Pawan Negi can also play like an all-rounder in the side.
Ashish Nehra, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami are front line fast bowling options. In Indian spin friendly conditions Ravichandran Ashwin, Harbhajan Singh will be the key bowlers with all-rounder Jadeja in the side.

India will play super-10 stage’s first match on 15th March against New Zealand. Men in blue will face arch rivals Pakistan in their second match of the t20 world cup 2016 on 19 March at Dharamsala.
