Peshawar Zalmi Team Squad for PSL 2016

Peshawar Zalmi is one of the cricket teams in Pakistan Super League twenty20 championship which is captained by Pakistan’s national t20 team captain Shahid Afridi. Mohammad Akram is the head coach of team whereas Pakistan cricket legend Imran Khan is the mentor of side.

Owner Javed Afridi picked some of the best Pakistani cricketers in the players draft. Peshwar Zalmi not only got captain Shahid Afridi but also premium pace bowler Wahab Riaz and top order batsman Mohammad Hafeez. Junaid Khan and Kamran Akmal are also included in the side for first PSL season.

Peshawar Zalmi squad consists of 2012 T20 world cup winning West Indies team captain Darren Sammy in the side. Bangladesh’s opening batsman Tamim Iqbal and England’s all-rounder Chris Jordan are the international signings in the Peshawar team. Team will play their first match of league on 5 February 2016 against Islamabad United in Dubai.
