T20 Global League is the recently launched twenty20 format cricket league that will be having 8 teams in the first edition of competition which is scheduled to play in November-December 2017.

Every team must have a maximum of 17 players in the roster including two marquee players (one South African player and one international signing). Two under-23 cricketers will also be a part of every T20GL team. These players should not appear in international cricket till date.
A total of 4 international players can be a part of T20 Global League team. Marquee players have been revealed for 8 teams and rest of the 15 players of each team will be picked during players draft to take place in August.
South Africa marquee players
AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, Faf du Plessis, JP Duminy, Kagiso Rabada, David Miller and Imran Tahir.
International marquee players
Chris Gayle (West Indies), Lasith Malinga (Sri Lanka), Kevin Pietersen (England), Eoin Morgan (England), Dwayne Bravo (West Indies), Kieron Pollard (West Indies), Brendon McCullum (New Zealand) and Jason Roy (England).
