Pakistan cricket team won 2009 ICC World T20 championship by defeating Sri Lanka cricket team in the final match played at Lord’s in London. It was second edition of prestigious wt20 event which was hosted in England. Just like previous edition, a total of 12 team took part in the competition. Captain Younis Khan led Pakistan team towards maiden twenty20 world cup win.
