Delhi Daredevils will definitely be looking to play some cricket in this year’s Indian Premier League as their past record has not been so good. Team is not having big names in 2016 IPL but can perform better under Zaheer Khan’s leadership and mentor Rahul Dravid’s guidance.

Top Order
South Africa wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock will be opening for Delhi Daredevils along side Mayank Agarwal. Both players are good hitters and can give good start to the side. Shreyas Iyer who has got everyone’s attention, will be the key batsman in the side and expected to bat at number 3 position.
Middle Order
Delhi Daredevils middle order will be depending on JP Duminy and Carlos Brathwaite’s shoulders. Both are terrific finishers for their respective countries. Nobody would forget Brathwaite’s 4 sixes in the final over of ICC World T20 that helped West Indies to chase 19 runs in the 20th over easily. So he’ll be a crucial player for them. Sanju Sampson and Karun Nair can also be handy players for DD in IPL 2016.
Bowlers
Bowling lien-up is quite decent for Delhi Daredevils in the ninth Indian Premier League season. Experienced Zaheer Khan will be leading the bowling unit that has got some good bowlers like Mohammad Shami, Imran Tahir and Pawan Negi. Carlos Brathwaite and Duminy may complete the bowling quota of 5th bowler for DD this season.
