England Cricket Team won 2010 ICC World Twenty20 championship which was their first major ICC trophy ever win in the history of cricket. 1. England won third edition of ICC World Twenty20 in 2010 at West Indies.

2. Alex Hales is the only English cricketer who has scored century in 20-20 world cup. He made unbeaten 116 runs against Sri Lanka at Chittagong in 2014.

3. England’s Kevin Pietersen is the only Man of The Series awardee in ICC World T20 championship as he was 2010 tournament’s player of the series.

4. Stuart Broad is the only bowler in twenty20 world cup history who conceded 6 sixes in an over. In 2007 championship’s match against India, Yuvraj Singh hit six 6s in an over of Broad.

England cricket team played South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in group matches. English team lost their first game of the tournament against West Indies but then beat all three team in super-10 round to qualify for semis. In the semi-final match, they beat New Zealand to enter in the final for second time in history. England lost final against West Indies.
