Sri Lanka Matches at ICC World Twenty20 2016

Twenty20 world cup 2016 title defending champion Sri Lanka will start their world t20 campaign against the qualifying team from first stage of event which will be played between 8 and 13 March. Sri Lanka is placed in the group-2 of super 10 stage along with 2012 world t20 champions West Indies, 2010 WT20 winners England and 2016 tournament’s favorite team South Africa.

Team Sri Lanka will be playing Caribbean side on 20 March at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. It will be an interesting contest to watch as both these teams have got good rivalry in the history of championship. Last time these two met in 2014 world t20’s semi-final in which Sri Lanka beat West Indies to take revenge of 2012’s final defeat.

In their third group match of 2016 cricket twenty20 world cup, Sri Lanka will be up against 2010 champions England. This match will be played on 26th March at Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi.
