United Arab Emirates cricket team has qualified for Micromax Asia Cup 2016 by winning final match of qualifiers round against Oman. UAE beat Oman in the last match of qualifying round by 71 runs to seal their berth for main event which is kicking off from 24 February.
UAE won all their qualifying group matches against Hong Kong, Afghanistan, Oman to face India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in Asia Cup main tournament. Team will play their first match against title defenders Sri Lanka on 25 February in Sher-E-Bangla Stadium.
