The fixtures and schedule of Vivo Indian Premier League 2018 have been leaked today. Opening game of IPL-11 is scheduled to be played between title defending champions Mumbai Indians and two time winner Chennai Super Kings.

Final of IPL 2018 will be played on 25th May. According to a Twenty20Wiki corresponded from Mumbai, the very first match of Indian Premier League 11th edition will be played at Wankhede Stadium and home team will take on CSK on Wednesday April 4.

Local corresponded contacted a BCCI official who shared info regarding fixtures announcement for cash rich league. He forbade to disclose his identity and told us that fixtures and dates for 2018 IPL have been fixed. The official announcement of the schedule is getting delayed because of venues confirmation for Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals are yet to be finalized.

“The opening match of this season will see Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings teams at the Wankhede stadium. IPL 2018 final is scheduled for 25th May,” the official told to reporter.

“Match venues are not decided for KXIP and Rajasthan Royals. Sawai Mansingh Stadium was the home ground for Royals for quite long and it would be great if IPL makes come back to Jaipur again. Rajkot venue can share few matches of Punjab and Rajasthan. The final decision will be made soon,” official added further.

It will be interesting to see two champions in the opening fixture of Vivo IPLT20 2018. Mumbai Indians are title defenders and they’ll be up against top class Chennai Super Kings who claimed two successive Indian Premier League trophies in 2010 and 2011.
